Favorite Book: Atlas Shrugged

“Mr. Rearden,” said Francisco, his voice solemnly calm, “if you saw Atlas, the giant who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the last of this strength, and the greater his effort the heavier the world bore down on his shoulders—what would you tell him to do?”
“I…don’t know. What.. could he do? What would you tell him?”
“To shrug.”

I chose to do this picture in black and white to symbolize that in life there are certain rights and wrongs that must be upheld. To violate these truths, one will only sacrifice his or herself. Just like there can be no compromise in this fact, there are no shades of grey in the picture.

I’m going to try really hard to stick with this challenge. I’m changing myself slowly, and this is something I need to do to better myself.

So Calvin (aznnerd.tumblr.com) has challenged me to a 30 day drawing challenge. Oddly enough, with me having a bajillion things to do, I still accepted. Why? Because, like the Grim Reaper, if you challenge me to a contest, I will most likely accept. That or I take your soul anyways…oddly like the Grim Reaper, too… which brings me to my idea of the day:

If you could challenge the Grim Reaper to any contest or game possible, what would it be? 

For me, it would be a drawing contest…that would last 100 years long..in the real world…where you had to draw one picture a day…. and at the end of the 100 years, hot, intelligent, bikini clad girls with artistic taste would judge the pictures. If there was a tie, we do it again! Yay!
